Our Client are an international telecommunications service provider, established over 30 years and based in Carlow.

Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced GM, with responsibility to manage the business on a day to day basis and work with the owners and shareholders to develop and implement a strategy for ambitious international growth over the coming years.
The role will involve:

  • Working with the CEO, Advisory Board and Management team to develop and implement a group wide strategy. Building structures, systems and resources to manage all functions from group level to operations.
  • General business management to include;
    • Overseeing the management of each Department and operation including:
      • Operations – including overseas locations.
      • Finance
      • Sales
      • HR
      • HSEQ
      • Marketing
      • IT
      • Any other department or operation as developed
  • Managing the company to meet set Budgets, KPIs, annual goals and objectives, for the company as a whole and for each operation and department. Specifically, personally responsible for achieving his company wide Budgets, KPIs, annual goals and objectives
  • Reporting to the CEO on agreed Budgets, KPIs and Objectives for the company as a whole and for each operation and department.
  • To maintain up to date knowledge of and adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures and Health and Safety Procedures;
  • Adhere to all environmental obligations;
  • To actively promote the Company’s high standards of service;

Required & Preferred Skills Set:

  • Third level qualification – business or finance
  • Previous General Management experience;
  • Over 10 years senior management experience;
  • A proven track record of delivering commercial results in a fast moving business environment;
  • Enthusiastic & motivated;
  • Sales & Target driven;
  • Financial acumen;
  • Excellent written & spoken English;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills;
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Telecoms experience desirable;
  • Excellent PC skills (word, excel and typing).
