Catching up with Alan Maher, who joined the Optimize team earlier this year.
Alan brings a wealth of technical knowledge and customer service experience and he has the know-how and skillset to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
Alan recruits in the Technical, Design and Engineering sectors throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Question: “Do you have any motto/quote that you work to or believe in?”
I don’t really have a particular motto, but as I have gotten older, I suppose I have realised that your happiness and your health is what is the most important thing.
Question: “What motivates you?”
My family and friends.
Question: “Why did you choose Recruitment?”
I have always worked in a customer service environment as I like meeting new people and building up relationships and trust over time. There is a great sense of accomplishment in helping people achieve their career goals
Question: “What is the best piece of advice you ever got?”
Don’t worry or stress about the things that are out of your control.

- Your death row final meal choice? – Rib eye steak, bearnaise sauce, chunky chips, onion, rings and a nice bottle of red wine. Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce, and vanilla ice cream for dessert. I’m going out happy!
