Programmer/Scheduler (South Kilkenny)

Our client a nationwide Engineering and Environmental Consultancy Practice are looking to recruit Programmer/Scheduler. Established in excess of 30 years ago, this consultancy engineering and environmental consultancy are experienced in working on many varied construction projects across every sector for both private and public clients.

The project is a large manufacturing facility for a major client in South Kilkenny.

  • Hold a degree or equivalent / satisfactory qualification in Engineering / construction Management.
  • Have at least 10 years’ post graduate relevant experience on Civil and Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Works.
  • The candidate must be proficient in the use of programming software systems and packages and demonstrate high proficiency in developing and maintaining progress databases including gathering information from various sources and reporting on progress, milestone projections, delay / float analysis, resource and cost / value analysis.

Our client has an immediate requirement for a programmer/scheduler. The successful candidate will be required to develop and manage an overall programme for the project to encompass construction programme, client programme and multiple client equipment supplier order, delivery and coordination with construction programme.

The suitable person will need to be familiar with construction and preferably construction in the food/beverage industry or similar.

The person is required immediately to be involved in developing an overall project programme in conjunction with the Client’s project team.

It is anticipated the project will continue until the end of 2021.
