Supply Chain Analyst/Coordinator (Kilkenny)

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the successful candidate will work as a vital part of the supply chain team contributing towards the smooth and efficient delivery of products.

Duties:

  • Purchase Orders: Supply Chain raise all purchase orders to suppliers based around sales forecast/history
  • Checking order acknowledgements
  • Liase with 3PL partners
  • Purchase Orders: You will be required to raise PO’s and 3PL invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure receipt of PO’s
  • Chase up suppliers for deliveries and monitor their performance ratings
  • Assist in the collation of shipping/delivery and export paperwork from Suppliers (both UK and Far East)
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager with strict stock control procedure
  • Assist the SCM in monitoring stock levels
  • Other support tasks carried out as and when required
  • Data Analysis and Report Generation

Key Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in logistics/supply chain/purchasing
  • Excellent IT skills are a must for this position, specifically Excel
  • Demonstrate an analytical aptitude and the ability to work under pressure to deliver what is required on time is vital
  • Be a strong team player and have the ability to communicate well and work unsupervised if required
  • Have the ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Purchasing experience and knowledge of inventory management is desirable
