EOIN CAREY
Managing Director
Eoin has been working in the recruitment industry since 2001. Prior to establishing Optimize Recruitment in Kilkenny in 2009, he worked with 2 of Ireland’s leading recruitment consultancies, as well as being a director of a successful specialist recruitment agency within the Construction & Engineering Sectors in Dublin. Relocating back to his native Kilkenny 2008, Optimize was incorporated in early 2009.
Setting up Optimize Recruitment in the midst of the recession was a challenge but it perhaps aided in underlining the importance of providing a quality, tailored recruitment service.
Eoin has brought forth the values and work ethic he has acquired throughout his career and he instils that same innovative, professional approach throughout the Optimize culture.
Eoin holds a Diploma in Business Studies and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Commercial Management.

MARY YOUNG
Financial Controller
Mary Young was appointed to the position of Financial Controller in May 2017. With over 25 years of experience across a range of service Industries, she brings with her a wealth of senior management experience having held senior finance positions within various leading IT startups and establish IT Companies, Financial Institutions, and Professional Engineering energy consultants. Mary has been involved with a number of companies in raising growth finance through Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland funding.
Qualifications: ACCA Qualified, DIT- Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management, Institute of Banking- QFA’s, graduate of Enterprise Ireland’s International Selling Programme in conjunction with Dublin Institute of Technology, which is designed to maximize Irish companies’ export sales. In 2020 Mary graduated from the National College of Ireland with a CIPD Diploma in Human Resources Management. Within the same year, she obtained a distinction in QQI certificate in Training Delivery & Evaluation.
